The Kuwaitis

Hussain Abbas

Photography

As part of my ongoing series The Kuwaitis on Kuwaiti identity, I explore how people inhabit and interact with Failaka Island in everyday ways;  working, visiting, celebrating, and reusing its spaces. Through these gestures and encounters, I seek to understand what our relationship with the island reveals about Kuwaiti identity today.
