Where Mud Meets Ruin

Aisha AlSaif and Mark Makhoul

Research and Visual Art

‘Where Mud Meets Ruin’ is a collaborative research and art project by the founder of 248AM and the ceramic artist behind From Mud. The goal is to explore Failaka Island’s archaeological history through a material lens combining research, storytelling, and ceramic experimentation. By connecting the island’s past with contemporary creative practice, the project aims to produce something new from the remnants of what once was.
