Infinite Present

Hayfa Algwaiz

Visual art

This residency project engages the ruins of Al-Qusur through architecture and archaeology as points of inquiry. Focusing on the visible remnants of past colonies embedded in the mass and void of excavated forms, it uses painting and drawing to explore how time persists in place — how fragments of the past remain within the present. The project seeks to reframe our perception of history, proposing new ways of seeing continuity, reconstruction, and the infinite present.
